“Preparation determines success”
After completing my tertiary studies at the University of Auckland and being admitted to the roll of barristers and solicitors of the High Court of New Zealand, I started my legal career in 2004 as a junior barrister in an Auckland Central chambers, before relocating to Wellington in 2007 to work on policy and law reform for the Ministry of Justice.
From 2009 to 2022, I was in the dispute resolution team at a national law firm, providing litigation support to the firm’s North Island offices. As a senior litigator, I dealt with a broad range of civil and commercial disputes, corporate insolvency matters and regulatory prosecutions.
Practice
I commenced practising on my own account as both a barrister and mediator in early 2023.
While my chambers are located in Auckland, I frequently travel to the Waikato and offer my services across New Zealand.
